JESSI ALEXANDER:
Jessi Alexander is accompanying Jon Randall down the CMA Awards red carpet on November 9 to promote not only Jon's nominated hit song, "Whiskey Lullaby," but also a special event honoring friend and famed designer Manuel. Jessi and Jon will be wearing outfits personally designed by Manuel.
Jessi will likely be one of the most sexy women on the red carpet in her burgundy velvet halter-style dress. The dress drapes in the front, is open in the back and has a rhinestone rose on the front. She will be carrying a matching purse and wearing Calvin Kline acrylic-heeled shoes from Bari Chase at Spaces in Nashville.
Jon will be sporting a black wool blazer with turquoise pinstripes and Manuel's signature rhinestones over a black silk shirt. His black leather pants are highlighted by a turquoise sequins and rhinestone dragon on the right leg. USA Today was on hand to document the couple's final fitting, and they will be included in an article about Manuel. Nashville's Frist Center for the Visual Arts will display a magnificent exhibition titled Manuel: Star-Spangled Couture from December 17, 2004 - March 13, 2005, and Jessi and Jon's outfits will be included in the special video that accompanies the exhibit.
SHELLY FAIRCHILD:
Shelly Fairchild's music is popping up all over the place thanks to its appeal to a broad audience: "Regis & Kelly" featured "Ride" in a segment on their trip giveaways and MTV's "Laguna Beach" featured "You Don't Lie Here Anymore."
When Shelly kicked off her radio tour in early August she had no idea when she'd make it back home to Nashville. In September, between radio performances and visits, Shelly was a large part in the successful ROCK THE VOTE college campus tour and performed shows in New York & LA. In October, she continued visiting radio and opened shows for Pat Green, Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley. Some days Shelly had to perform three times in one day! Turns out that she has only been home for six total days over the last three months! After attending the CMA Awards tomorrow night, Shelly hits the road again making a few radio visits across Michigan and performing at Lansing's Cactus Juice Saloon on Friday, November 12th and WUSN's radio show in Mundelein, Illinois, on Saturday, November 13th.
