Martina McBride - Waking Up Laughing

Martina McBride will release her ninth studio album, Waking Up Laughing on April 3, 2007. The first single from the album is "Anyway," which is Martina's first co-write on a song (written with the Warren Brothers). The song is in the Top 10 and still rising. She performed the song on the CMA Awards in November. The album will also be her first in the producer's chair. It follows up the successful Platinum-selling Timeless album. She also includes two more co-writes, with "How I Feel" (co-written with the Warren Brothers, Chris Lindsey and Aimee Mayo), and "Beautiful Again," (also written with Brett and Brad Warren, along with Nick Trevisick).
When asked why she chose "Anyway" as the first single from the album, Martina explains, "It"s just a really strong song. It"s inspiring. I feel like it"s hopeful…and I love what it says. And I just felt like it was a great first impression of the album for people to hear."
