Release Date - October 31, 2006
Kellie Pickler first got national attention as one of the finalists on the 2006 season of American Idol. The country songbird signed with 19 Recordings/BNA Records, just like Carrie Underwood, and will release her debut album, Small Town Girl on October 31, 2006.
The first single from the release is called "Red High Heels," and hits radio on the 20th of September. Kellie is one of the co-writers of the track which Matt calls "a fun, personality-driven song about shoes" in his Country Single Releases for the week of September 18th.
Talking about the albums release date being on Halloween, Kellie says, "Well you could buy it and put it in your trick or treat bag. It's really good for you, it's not like candy, it won't rot your teeth."
