Lonestar - Mountains

Lonestar will release their seventh studio release, Mountains on October 17, 2006. The lead single and title track was released in late June, and the song is sitting at No. 22 with a bullet on the charts for the week of September 23, 2006.
Lead singer Richie McDonald co-wrote the track, and he says "I was going through some challenges in my life at the time and felt like I could definitely relate to what this song was saying. I really feel that there are a lot of people in this world facing mountains every day but one of my favorite lines in this song sums it up for me - 'The good lord gave us mountains so we could learn how to climb.' That pretty much says it all!"
