Jack Ingram - This Is It

Jack Ingram will release his sophomore project, This Is It on Big Machine Records on March 27, 2007. The first single off the new album is "Lips of an Angel," is currently in the Top 20 and moving up the charts. This album is actually his first studio release. The first project for Big Machine was Live: Wherever You Are, which as the title suggests was a live album.
In discussing "Lips of an Angel," which is a cover of rock band Hinder's smash hit, Ingram points out with characteristic wry humor, the song is about former lovers who have moved on in their lives, but not in their hearts. The illicit phone call between the two sets the stage for "Lips of an Angel," a cheating song if ever there was one. "Come on, that's country music right there," Ingram chuckles.
In talking about the album, Ingram says, "My records in the past paralleled my growth and maturity and This Is It is a further reflection of that. This is what I've been going through and what I've been doing."
