If you looked up in an encyclopedia the definition of country music, you would see a picture of George Strait in there as your definition. He's so timeless. In his 26-year-career, he's had over 50 No. 1 songs, which prompted the release of the 50 Number Ones album. But, even that could not capture everything that fans love so much about him.
On November 13, 2007, a companion piece was released to add to his multi-platinum 50 Number Ones. It was called simply, 22 More Hits, and included 22 fan favorites and well known Strait hit singles that despite not quite reaching number one at country radio, have made a timeless impression on country fans everywhere. In just under two months since its release, it has sold over 500,000 copies, earning The King of Country yet another Gold record. This is his 36th certified album.
