Week of March 10, 2008
March 15, 2008 - Carrie Underwood received a huge suprise when after performing her cover of Randy Travis' "I Told You So" on the Opry stage tonight, Randy showed up on stage with her. He told her that she did a wonderful job on the song, and that after he heard it the first time, he thought her vocals were much better suited to it than his were. He went on to mention that he heard she was celebrating her birthday this week, and to end the week, the management of the Opry would like to offer their invitation to her to become its latest member. Carrie of course accepted.
Carrie's induction is scheduled for May 10, 2008.
