Week of January 21, 2008
January 24, 2008 - Great American Country was on hand to tape performances for their upcoming special, "How Great Thou Art: Gospel Favorites Live from the Grand Ole Opry." The 90-minute special coincides with the album of the same name, and features performances by Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Carrie Underwood, Trace Adkins, Loretta Lynn, Sara Evans and others. The show will premiere on February 9th at 8:00 pm ET.
How Great Thou Art: Gospel Favorites Life from the Grand Ole Opry will be in stores on February 5th.

In other GAC News, be sure to watch for a new upcoming series called "Introducing..." which examines the road to stardom with the hottest new country stars. The premiere episode will focus on newcomer Luke Bryan. The episode premieres on February 24th.
Lastly, GAC will feature a special on Kellie Pickler's experiences while on her USO tour. The show will be called "Kellie Pickler: My USO Diary," and will follow her visit to the members of the armed forces in the Middle East. The episode will air on February 16th.
