Country Legend Kix Brooks will perform for the troops on USO Tour

January 23, 2008 - Kix Brooks, one half of the country duo, Brooks & Dunn will soon leave for the Persian Gulf to perform for the service men and women as part of a USO Tour. During his eight-day visit, he will perform live for the troops, sign autographs, pose for pictures and tape an episode of his ABC Radio Networks syndicated show "American Country Countdown."

"I'm really excited about going to the Middle East and look forward to telling our troops just how much we appreciate their service," said Brooks. "There's nothing quite like performing for the U.S. armed forces. They are so appreciative and I'm certain this USO tour will be amazing."

Next month, Kix will join Ronnie Dunn to play the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo on February 5th, and then later in the month, the duo will head down under for a a two-week tour of Australia, which includes stops in Boondall, Melbourne, and Sydney.
