Ronnie Milsap has become the pre-eminent country soul singer of his time. He has always let his knack for finding good songs and entertaining crowds speak for him. Today, his track record speaks loud and clear: 40 #1 hits, six Grammy awards, eight Country Music Association awards, and the Academy of Country Music Pioneer award recipient mark him as one of the best-loved, and most important artists in country music history.
Fans can catch Milsap performing in 2008 on "The #1 Hits Tour" as it crosses the United States and hits a few cities in Canada.
"I live to perform, I love the stage, and I love the crowds," says Milsap. "The applause and crowd give me that drive to keep making music and sharing it with the fans. As long as the fans keep coming, I will keep performing."
