January 14, 2008 - Sarah Johns didn't have time to think about having butterflies before her opening night show on the George Strait tour, because ten minutes before she was to step on stage, her boot blew out.

"We were on the bus in the parking lot about to go to the stage when the zipper on my knee-high boots busted open...from heel to knee! I screamed and I'm not sure what string of words followed but it's safe to say they were not 'G' rated. Luckily I had a back-up pair of boots but they look like hell let out on recess," Sarah laughed.

Sarah's set includes the fiesty "One in the Middle," and her current single, "He Hates Me," both from her debut album, Big Love in a Small Town.

Sarah had a great attitude about the boot mishap, saying, "The good news is, if you have a boot problem, Texas is the state you want to be in." The show moves on into Oklahoma City tonight, and Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday.
