Top 10 Country Singles
This week Jack Ingram celebrates his first No. 1 single with "Wherever You Are." It has been nine years since Jack first had a song on the Billboard charts. Jason Aldean's song, "Why," is at No. 2. Dierks Bentley settles one spot higher than last week with No. 3 song, "Settle For A Slow Down." LeAnn Rimes finds herself three spots higher this week with No. 4's "Something's Gotta Give," No. 5 is Bon Jovi w/ Jennifer Nettles' "Who Says You Can't Go Home," and No. 6 is Rascal Flatts with "What Hurts The Most." Faith Hill still must be "The Lucky One," even though her song dropped a single spot to No. 7. Her husband, Tim McGraw, is snuggled up next to her with "When The Stars Go Blue" at No. 8. Phil Vassar's latest song (""The Last Day Of My Life") is at No. 9 and No. 10 is "Size Matters (Someday)," by Joe Nichols. Though Jack Ingram's song is still popular, I will guess that Jason Aldean will be No. 1 next week.
Moving Up at the Speed of Light
Mark Wills' "Hank" is having success this week as the song jumps five spots to No. 49. Meanwhile, Sammy Kershaw jumped seven spots to No. 51 with "Tennessee Girl." Another seven spot jumper is Trace Adkins with "Swing." It landed on No. 40.
The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves
For the third week in a row there are four tunes hitting the radio this week. No. 59 is Rockie Lynne's "Do We Still," No. 57 is Gary Nichols' "Unbroken Ground," No. 56 is Keith Urban with "Live To Love Another Day," and the highest debut of the week is The Lost Trailers with "Call Me Crazy" at No. 47.
Top 10 Country Album Charts
Rascal Flatts still sit high atop the No. 1 album position with Me And My Gang, while Phil Vassar made a strong No. 2 debut with Greatest Hits Volume 1. Staying put at No. 3 is Tim McGraw's Tim McGraw - Greatest Hits, Vol. 2: Reflected and No. 4 finds Toby Keith's album, White Trash With Money. Despite being a greatest gainer, Carrie Underwood's Some Hearts album remains in the No. 5 position. Alan Jackson's Precious Memories drop two spots and lands on No. 6. Also dropping a single spot: Johnny Cash's The Legend Of Johnny Cash at No.7 and Keith Urban's Be Here at No. 8. Josh Turner's Your Man jumped a spot to No. 9. Rascal Flatts' Feels Like Today dropped two spots to No. 10.
