Top 10 Country Singles
As predicted last week, The Wreckers' "Leave The Pieces" made it all the way to No. 1. No. 2 is Steve Holy's "Brand New Girlfriend," No. 3 is "If You're Going Through Hell (Before The Devil Even Knows)" by Rodney Atkins, and George Strait's "Give It Away" advanced a spot to No. 4. Little Big Town drop one to No. 5 with "Bring It On Home." Brooks & Dunn (w/ Sheryl Crow and Vince Gill) have a song ("Building Bridges") at No. 6, Faith Hill's "Sunshine and Summertime" remains at No. 7, Josh Turner remains at No. 8 with "Would You Go With Me", and Brad Paisley is still at No. 9 with "The World." Kenny Chesney re-enters the Top 10 with No. 10's "Summertime," which was a two spot jump. Next week, I predict either The Wreckers will remain at No. 1, or Steve Holy will take over the top spot.
Moving Up at the Speed of Light
When it comes to songs jumping seven spots, this week there's a triple threat: Eric Church's "Two Pink Lines" hit No. 45, while Toby Keith's "Crash Here Tonight" made it to No. 34, and Kenny Chesney hit No. 17 with "You Save Me." Rascal Flatts' "My Wish" (at No. 30) moved a total of eight spots. The biggest jump goes to Phil Vassar with his song, "The Woman In My Life." It jumped nine spots to land at No. 44.
The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves
Only two songs hit the air waves this time around. No. 59 is "Podunk" by Keith Anderson and No. 57 is "She's Everything" by Brad Paisley.
Top 10 Country Album Charts
Looks like Trace Adkins is spending a second week at No. 1, thanks to his Dangerous Man album, while it looks like Pat Green debuted at No. 2 with Cannonball, and Rascal Flatts' Me And My Gang dropped to No. 3. Josh Turner drops a spot to land Your Man at No. 4 and Carrie Underwood spends another week at No. 5 with Some Hearts. Tim McGraw - Greatest Hits, Vol. 2: Reflected drops to No. 6. No. 7 is The Wreckers' Stand Still, Look Pretty album, the Dixie Chicks' Taking The Long Way is No. 8, and Rodney Atkins' If You're Going Through Hell is No. 9. Steve Holy's Brand New Girlfriend drops to No. 10 to round out the Top 10.
What's New on the Album Charts This Week?
Two albums made their debut this week: Various Artists' Believe: Songs Of Faith From Today's Top Country & Christian Artists at No. 31 and the already-mentioned Cannonball (by Pat Green) at No. 2.
