From Shelly Fabian, for About.com

Top 10 Country Singles

Trace Adkins' "Ladies Love Country Boys" held on to the No. 1 position for the second week, while Kenny Chesney's "Beer In Mexico" advanced into the No. 2 position (from last week's No. 5). At No. 3 is "Watching You" by Rodney Atkins. Keith Urban's "Stupid Boy" dropped to No. 4 and Tim McGraw's "Last Dollar (Fly Away)" jumped to No. 5. Also jumping is Martina McBride's latest, "Anyway," at No. 6. Carrie Underwood found herself at No. 7 with "Wasted" and Rascal Flatts moved into the Top 10 with No. 8's "Stand." Sugarland's "Settlin'" is two spots higher at No. 9 and Jason Michael Carroll rounds out the Top 10 with "Alyssa Lies." With Kenny Chesney hot on Trace Adkins' heels, I'm almost certain the beach-loving singer will take over the top on next week's charts.

Moving Up at the Speed of Light
This week, two songs jumped a total of six spots: Little Big Town's "A Little More You" at No. 44 and No. 35's "Teardrops On My Guitar" by Taylor Swift. The biggest advance was Katrina Elam's eight-spot mover "Flat On The Floor," which landed at No. 52. The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves

Rick Trevino's "Seperate Ways" debuted at No. 59, Craig Morgan's "Tough" did five better at No. 54, "Tennessee" (by The Wreckers) went to No. 54, and Brad Paisley's "Ticks" was the highest debut at No. 50.

Top 10 Country Album Charts
There's been no change with the first three albums. The Dixie Chicks' Taking The Long Way is still No. 1, while No. 2 is Some Hearts (by Carrie Underwood), and Rascal Flatts' Me And My Gang is No. 3. Taylor Swift's self-titled advanced a spot to No. 4, Keith Urban dropped to No. 5 with Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing, and Rodney Atkins' If You're Going Through Hell remained at No. 6. Jason Michael Carroll's Waitin' In The Country is still No. 7 and No. 8 is Josh Turner's [link rl=http://erclk.about.com/?zi=1/kEM]Your Man[/link]. Brad Paisley is stuck at No. 9 with Time Well Wasted and Sugarland is also stuck (at No. 10) with Enjoy the Ride.

What's New on the Album Charts This Week?
Five albums made their debut on the charts this time around. Daryle Singletary's Straight From The Heart debuted at No. 74, Best Of Country (by Various Artists) made it to No. 73, Greatest Kids Country Hits (by Various Artists) got to No. 61, The Essential John Denver is No. 56, and Bill Engvall's 15 Degrees Off Cool is the highest debut at No. 16.

NOTE: All chart rankings are based on the song or album's position on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart or Billboard Country Albums Chart for March 17, 2007.
