Top 10 Country Singles
Tim McGraw steals the spotlight from his friend Kenny Chesney, as this week's No. 1 is "Last Dollar (Fly Away)" and even Carrie Underwood steals a little bit of thunder as "Wasted" hits No. 2. Kenny Chesney has to settle for No. 3 with "Beer In Mexico." No. 4 is still "Stand" by Rascal Flatts and No. 5 is "Settlin'" by Sugarland. Dropping a single spot is Martina McBride with No. 6's "Anyway." Joe Nichols' "I'll Wait For You" stayed at No. 7, while Toby Keith's "High Maintenance Woman" advanced to No. 8. Billy Currington's "Good Directions" moved into the Top 10 by landing at No. 9 and Dierks Bentley also made it to the Top 10 at No. 10 with "Long Trip Alone." Next week's No. 1 will be a battle between Carrie Underwood and Tim McGraw. I think Carrie will win and "Wasted" will be at the top of the charts.
Moving Up at the Speed of Light
Clay Walker's "Fall" advanced six spots to land at No. 53, but Trent Tomlinson's "Just Might Have Her Radio On" beat that by advancing seven spots to No. 45. The ultimate winner though is Terri Clark's "Dirty Girl," which jumped a total of nine spots to hit No. 39.
The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves
Four new songs hit the air waves for the first time this week: Trace Adkins' "I Wanna Feel Something" at No. 52, Chris Young's "You're Gonna Love Me" at No. 51, No. 50's "God Don't Make Mistakes" by Jamie O'Neal and Tim McGraw (with Faith Hill) debuted their song ("I Need You") at No. 48.
