Kenny Chesney breaks records as "Never Wanted Nothing More" is the longest lasting No. 1 so far this year, at five weeks straight. Rodney Atkins is at No. 2 with "These Are My People." Reba McEntire with Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You" moves up two places to No. 3, followed by Rascal Flatts' "Take Me There," which advances by three places to sit at No. 4. Brooks & Dunn are at No. 5 with "Proud of the House We Built," which is up three places from No. 8 last week. Bucky Covington remains at No. 6 for a third week in a row with "A Different World." At No. 7, moving up three places from No. 10 is Toby Keith's "Love Me If You Can." At No. 9, moving up three places is Sugarland's "Everyday America," followed by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill with "I Need You," which drops one spot to No. 10. Next week, I expect Rodney Atkins to take the No. 1 spot on the charts with "These Are My People," making it his third straight No. 1 song from his If You're Going Through Hell album.
Moving Up at the Speed of Light
Big & Rich hold the fastest moving song this week, as "Between Raisin' Hell And Amazing Grace" moves 12 places, from No. 57 to No. 45. George Strait moves up nine places with "How 'Bout Them Cowgirls" this week, moving from No. 35 to No. 26. Trace Adkins also moves up nine places with "I Got My Game On," which moves from No. 49 to No. 40 this week.
The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves
The Eagles release a single to country radio, "How Long," which debuts at No. 44. Mark Chesnutt's "Rollin' With The Flow" debuts at No. 49. Taylor Swift releases "Our Song," which debuts at No. 55. Rissi Palmer releases "Country Girl," which debuts at No. 58, and Joanna Cotten's "The Prize" starts out at No. 60.
