Taylor Swift remains at No. 1 for a second week with "Our Song." Josh Turner's "Firecracker" also remains at No. 2. George Strait's "How 'Bout Them Cowgirls" moves up one spot to No. 3, followed by Montgomery Gentry's "What Do You Think Of That," which moves up one spot to land at No. 4. Sugarland's "Stay" moves up one place to No. 5, followed by Kenny Chesney's "Don't Blink" which drops from No. 3 to No. 6 this week. Rascal Flatts move up one to No. 7 with "Winner at a Losing Game." Keith Urban also moves up one to No. 8 with "Everybody," followed by Brad Paisley's "Letter to Me" which moves from No. 12 to No. 9, and Gary Allan's "Watching Airplanes" which moves from No. 13 to No. 10. I see Taylor Swift remaining at No. 1 for a third straight week, to start out 2008 at the top of the charts.
Moving Up at the Speed of Light
Carrie Underwood ties with The Song Trust for the songs that are moving the fastest up the charts, as "All-American Girl" and "Bring Him Home Santa" each move up eighteen spots on the chart. Carrie from No. 46 to No. 38, and The Song Trust from No. 58 to No. 40. Wow!
The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves
Garth Brooks adds a duet with Huey Lewis on an old Huey Lewis classic hit, "Workin' For a Livin'" this week. The song has the Hot Shot Debut distinction on Billboard, coming in at No. 50. Sugarland's "Winter Wonderland" enters the charts at No. 58, while Taylor Swift's "White Christmas" enters at No. 59.
