Top 10 Country Singles
We have a new No. 1 this week, as Alan Jackson takes "Small Town Southern Man" to the top of the charts. Carrie Underwood drops to No. 2 with "All-American Girl," followed by Trace Adkins at No. 3, who moves up two spots with "You're Gonna Miss This." Rodney Atkins remains at No. 4 with "Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy)." Kenny Chesney and George Strait drop two places to No. 5 with "Shiftwork," followed by Chris Cagle, who moves up one to No. 6, with "What Kinda Gone," then George Strait's "I Saw God Today" at No. 7, and Chuck Wicks' "Stealing Cinderella" dropping two, to No. 8. Moving up one spot is James Otto's "Just Got Started Lovin' You," and at No. 10 is Jason Aldean's "Laughed Until We Cried," which drops a spot, but keeps its bullet, so hopefully, will move up again next week. I think Alan will remain on top next week.
Moving Up at the Speed of Light
Jo Dee Messina's "I'm Done" entered the charts last week at No. 56 and this week, it moves up seven places to No. 49.
The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves
Carrie Underwood scores Billboard's "Hot Shot Debut" distinction, with the entry of "Last Name" at No. 46 this week.
