Top 10 Country Songs
Brad Paisley has his fifth No. 1 from
5th Gear, as "Waitin' on a Woman" climbs into the No. 1 spot this week. This is Brad's eighth No. 1 in a row (not counting seasonal releases), which is more than any other country artist in the 18-year history of Neilson BDS play. Jimmy Wayne drops to No. 2 with "Do You Believe Me Now." Darius Rucker moves up two places to No. 3, with "Don't Think I Don't Think About It." Keith Urban's "You Look Good in my Shirt" falls one to No. 4, followed by Kenny Chesney's "Everybody Wants to Go To Heaven," which rises one spot. Keith Anderson's "I Still Miss You" falls three to No. 7, followed by Toby Keith's "She Never Cried in Front of Me," moving up one, and George Strait's "Troubadour" drops one, and The Lost Trailers' "Holler Back" spends a second week at No. 10. I see Brad Paisley holding on for a second week at the top, but Darius Rucker is pushing hard for No. 1 and should achieve it the following week.
Moving Up at the Speed of Light
Montgomery Gentry hold the Greatest Gainer distinction on Billboard, as "Roll With Me" moves up seven, from No. 26 to No. 19. Sugarland's "Already Gone" moves up six spots, from No. 47 to No. 41. Tim McGraw's "Let It Go" has the Airpower distinction on Billboard this week, as the song moves up five spots, from No. 25 to No. 20.
The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves
Rascal Flatts' "Here" debuts this week at No. 49. The Eli Young Band's "Always the Love Songs" debuts at No. 60.
