Guide Review - Country Music Triviologies - Aleken Games
Receiving this game for review right before the Thanksgiving holiday weekend made for some perfect timing. With the house full of country music and trivia game lovers, everyone wanted to play. Having huge expectations we tore right into the game and played for hours. We were not disappointed. After selecting a game piece and deciding who goes first, each player or team begins with a roll of the die and follows the directions of the spot they land on. The first stage has you answering questions from one of five categories. Country Legends, Hot New Country, Country Mix, Country Jukebox and Women of Country. This first level has included the ability of your opponent to steal your collectibles and there's nothing sweeter than being able to remove the fourth collectible from your opponent. Not so sweet when they take yours though!
With three remaining stages left - Country Star, Country Chart Topper and Big Star, you must answer one question from each category in order to advance. Each stage gets progressively more difficult and it might take a little more in-depth thinking to answer correctly when you reach the final stage and must answer a question from the Big Star category.
This game is a great addition to any trivia lovers collection but the best part is the fact that it's all country. From the earliest formative years to today's hot new artists and songs, everything is covered.
