Guide Review - Sweet Right Here - SHeDAISY

After seeing their debut album “The Whole Shebang” become immensely popular, SHeDAISY released their sophomore CD “Knock On The Sky” in 2002. Aside from a moderately successful single the album was a stinker. The SHeDAISY sisters had succumbed to the dreaded sophomore slump. After virtually two years away from the spot light, SHeDAISY returned to radio with their first single from their third CD “Sweet Right Here.” “Passenger Seat” was more like the songs on the first CD and thus has returned SHeDAISY to the Billboard Top 10.

“Don’t Worry About A Thing” is a tongue-in-cheek song that hints at their struggles with “Knock on the Sky.” It has a life is good, despite what happens, message. This one should be a popular single that many will relate to. “I Dare You” and “Without A Sound” are both beautifully done ballads that could cross-over to AC radio. “Without A Sound” sounds like a song that could be performed by an American Idol contestant. “He’s A Hero” is a loving tribute to a father and with the father’s day coming up soon, it’s sure to make plenty of eyes tear up. “Good Together (Bucket And Chicken)” is as close to traditional country as the Osborn sisters get.

“Love Goes On” is a melodic track that is the perfect ending to a heck of a rebound CD for SHeDAISY. They knew that this CD had to provide radio with more friendly fare and it has that in spades. Those looking for some great summertime music should check out “Sweet Right Here.”
