Who would have known back in 1989 that when a blond-haired singer hit the country music scene, that he would achieve such a superstar status in a relatively short span of time. Along with Garth Brooks and George Strait, Alan Jackson has continuously put out great tradition sounding country music for the fans to enjoy.
With all Montgomery Gentry releases, listeners get a glimpse of the simple life and the tradition continues with "My Town." The songs range from broken hearts, to drinking, and then to an ode for a hometown that they hold so dear.

"This Side" is simply phenomenal and the listener can tell that the trio has evolved musically and is not afraid to try some new things. Alison Krauss is the producer, as she was on "Nickel Creek," so you know that the quality is the best it could possibly be.
With the best tracks being "It Don't Matter," "That's Just Jesse," "It'll Go Away," and "Cadillac Tears," this CD is one that every traditional country fan will enjoy.
