Sugarland is one of the hottest acts in country music today, and we've decided to spotlight them as our AboutCountry Artist of the Month.
It's hard to believe Sugarland only been on the national scene since 2003, when they were a trio consisting of Jennifer Nettles, Kristen Hall and Kristian Bush. After releasing one album, Kristen Hall decided she wanted to leave the band and concentrate on songwriting, and so the group became a duo.
On July 29, 2008, they released their third album, Love on the Inside, which debuted at the top of the country charts, scoring over 313,600 copies sold in its first week, and giving the duo the #1 country debut of 2008.
This fall, Sugarland will tour to support their new album on the Love on the Inside Tour with special guests Kellie Pickler, and Ashton Shepherd.
