Brooks & Dunn - "Hillbilly Deluxe"
We have a new No. 1 song on the Top 10 Hottest Song list, as Brooks & Dunn's title cut from their latest album finds itself with the most chart movement this week. The duo hosted the CMA Awards earlier this week, and won three awards, although that isn't the reason for this surge in movement. It charts this week at No. 57. Next week, we'll see how their CMA exposure helps their song. This song is growing on me some, but I still don't like it as well as other songs they've recorded.
Jason Michael Carroll - "Alyssa Lies"
Jason Michael Carroll is a wonderful single, and I think this song is going to do for him what "I Loved Her First" did for Heartland. His song moves up two spots to No. 26 this week.
Brad Paisley - "She's Everything"
Brad recently performed this on the CMA Awards show earlier this week. He also took home the CMA Musical Event award for his collaboration with Dolly Parton, "When I Get Where I'm Going." He's poised on the edge of the Top 10 this week, coming in at No. 11, and will be moving up and off this chart next week.
George Strait - "It Just Comes Natural"
George Strait moves up eight spots on the charts to No. 12 this week. I don't think we'll be seeing him much longer on the Top 10 Hot Country Songs list, as he'll be in the Top 10 very soon, and I'd guess this will be another No. 1 song for him, as well.
Dierks Bentley - "Long Trip Alone"
This single hasn't even officially been released yet, but I know I've heard it on the radio, and I don't even listen all that much. Wonderful track. It hasn't charted yet, but it is getting added like crazy. I would guess it will chart next week in the 40's maybe.
Rodney Atkins - "Watching You"
Rodney moves up four to No. 19 this week, in just 8 weeks on the chart. Have you seen the video yet? It features his son, Elijah. Adorable.
Martina McBride - "Anyway"
Martina sang this gorgeous ballad on the CMA Awards earlier this week. The song official is supposed to be released this week, but radio stations are jumping the gun and adding it like crazy. It hasn't charted yet, but I am sure it will next week. I love the message of the song. Martina's great at picking songs that say something without pounding you over the head with it. This is another one, and I really love it. This is the first single from her upcoming album next year.
Gary Allan - "A Feelin' Like That"
Gary's song moves up seven spots this week, coming in exactly at No. 40. Another great upbeat tune. This is the lead single from his upcoming album, due out next February.
The Wreckers - "My, Oh My"
I just love this song! After sitting at No. 27 for two weeks, it moves up three spots to No. 24 this week. Listen to the Audio and watch the video.
Faith Hill - "Stealing Kisses"
Faith Hill performed this song on the CMA Awards last Tuesday, however that isn't the reason for the movement up the chart. We'll see next week if her controversial reaction (she says it was a joke, but it backfired) to Carrie Underwood's winning the CMA Female Vocalist award will have any affect on the chart play of this song. It's a gorgeous song, and I hope it continues to rise up the charts. It moves up two spots to No. 41 this week.
