Each year there are a multitude of albums coming out of Nashville. Your AboutCountry staff has varied tastes in the type of country music that we each like, and as such, we generally don't agree on any one artist as having an album we'd all rank in our Top 10 for the year. Plus, because this year was just so jam packed full of great music, we each have included two additional albums we consider worthy of Honorable Mention.
We don't have one particular artist that made all our lists, however Martina McBride made it to six of the eight lists. Lee Ann Womack, Dierks Bentley and Trisha Yearwood made it to four of the eight lists. Miranda Lambert made it to three lists, plus she got honorable mentions on one list. She is our highest ranked debut artist for the year.
Check out each of our lists and see if we listed some of your favorites. And as always, you're welcome to post your own Top 10 on our AboutCountry Forums
