Rascal Flatts began 2007 with a win at the CMT Music Awards for Group Video of the Year for "What Hurts the Most." They continued their winning ways at the ACM Awards, taking home the ACM Group of the Year Award, and then the CMA Group of the Year Award at the CMA Awards, later in the year. At the American Music Awards, they won for Favorite Band, Duo or Group.

Gary, Joe Don and Jay saw two songs fly straight to No. 1 this year, with "Take Me There" staying at the top for three weeks, and "Stand" for a single week. They released Still Feels Good which debuted at No. 1, and stayed there for four straight weeks, and has sold over 1,000,000 copies, earning the group a Platinum certification.

The guys had a very successful tour this year, as Billboard ranked them at No. 3, playing 55 dates, and selling out 26 shows.
