Lee Ann Womack (August 19, 1966)
This beautiful mother of two crossed over into pop and tried to prove that country was “Something Worth Leaving Behind” but her Texas Twang-filled vocals wouldn’t allow for that to happen. Early in 2005 Lee Ann proved that “There’s More Where That (Texas twang) Came From” with her triumphant return to country radio.
