1. Josh Turner - Everything is Fine

Josh Turner - Everything is FineMCA Nashville
Josh Turner has a voice that makes my toes curl. I absolutely love the way he keeps his music positive and family oriented, while singing about things that happen to real people.

2. Brad Paisley - 5th Gear

Brad Paisley - 5th GearArista Nashville
Brad has been a favorite of mine since he hit the scene with his very traditional voice in what had become a popped up industry. Not only does he have a phenomenal voice, he is amazing with a guitar. He also has a great sense of humor and I always look forward to the Kung Pao Buckaroos.

3. Miranda Lambert - Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

I chose this CD to be in my top 10 because I simply like her style. Her music has attitude and passion, which are two very important components in a successful career.

4. Joe Nichols - Real Things

Joe Nichols - Real ThingsUniversal South
Joe Nichols is another contemporary artist with a traditional sound. I pick him for my top ten because he has a great sound and continues to release quality albums.

5. Big & Rich - Between Raising Hell & Amazing Grace

Big & Rich - Between Raising Hell & Amazing GraceWarner Nashville
I'll admit to being a reluctant fan. Their first single really wasn't one I liked and it took me a while to take them seriously. This album is excellent and one I listen to frequently. I love the variety of musical styles featured.

6. Toby Keith - Big Dog Daddy

Toby Keith - Big Dog DaddyShowdog Nashville
Toby Keith has come back to his earlier sound over the last couple of albums and this is a fun one to listen to.

7. Reba McEntire - Duets

Reba McEntire - DuetsMCA Nashville
Reba has been a favorite of mine since I first heard her as an opening act in the early '80's. She has an incredibly powerful voice with a fun personality to go with it. I love the duets that are on this album.

8. Gretchen Wilson - One of the Boys

I chose this album for the top ten simply because I really like Gretchen Wilson. I like people who are not afraid to be who they are. She writes music that is honest and can sing a hard driving drinking song then turn around and make you grab the tissues while she sings a beautiful love ballad.

9. Brenda Lee - Gospel Duets With Treasured Friends

Brenda Lee is a legend and she has a whole houseful of legends joining her on her latest project. It is simply an amazing album.

10. Rascal Flatts - Still Feels Good

Rascal Flatts - Still Feels Good Lyric Street Music
Rascal Flatts are a fun group to listen to and their incredible vocal harmony keeps them at the top of the charts. Their CDs make great traveling music.
