From , former About.com Guide

Daryle Singletary was born in Cairo, Georgia. He grew up singing gospel music with his brothers and cousins. He moved to Nashville, and in 1995 was signed to Giant Records where he released his self-titled debut, which produced the smash hit singles, "I Let Her Lie," and "Too Much Fun." He released two more albums before moving to Audium Records, where he's released two more CDs.

1. Daryle Singletary - Daryle Singletary

Hailed as the keeper of the traditional country flame, Daryle Singletary emerged on the scene in early 1995 with his honky tonk single, "I'm Livin Up To Her Low Expectations." While it wasn't bigger than a Top 40 hit, the song nonetheless created a buzz that quickly spread throughout the country music community. His following singles became Top 10 smash hits.

2. Now And Again - Daryle Singletary

With all of his biggest hits & 4 stellar new tracks to support them, Daryle was back in the country music spotlight. However, of all 3 singles released from the CD, only "I Knew I Loved You" even approached the Billboard Top 40 chart. While there weren't any new hits to support the older ones, this CD is still a worthy addition to any country music fan's collection.

3. That's Why I Sing This Way - Daryle Singletary

Daryle successfully attained a rather quick rise to top of the Country Music charts with some of his previous singles and instead of putting another album out there to contend with the crop of new artists, he simply tipped his hat to those that inspired him to be what he is today - and he did it well.
