There are new albums coming out all the time. We've picked several of the best country releases from January 2003.
While "Living Out Loud" is a wholly contemporary album, it still leaves the listener satisfied. The whole album is full of quality songs that are sure to become hits and make Aaron Lines a household name in the world of Country Music.
"Pain to Kill" is Terri Clark's latest album from Mercury Records and I think it is packed with solid material. She goes for songs that are about real life, not the fluff of fantasy life. She has a smooth voice that is easy to listen to.
Featuring songs written by Curb Recording artist Jenai, Helen Darling, Kevin Welch and Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Bering Straits self titled album is chock full of songs that run the gamut from modern country to the torch style of Patsy Cline. Similar to Diamond Rio, Bering Strait plays all the instruments on every song save for some minor drum assistance by Eddie Bayers.
Along with songs like "Feels So Right," "How Do You Fall In Love," & "Love in the First Degree," there are two new songs. The first, "I'm In The Mood," and the second, a remake of an old Mike and the Mechanics song, called "The Living Years." All in all, a great deal for both old and new fans alike.
"Steal Another Day" is a fine album. The newly written tracks are superb while the re-recorded songs are gems in their own right. This is a collection of songs that has something for every country fan on it. If you're a fan of Steve Wariner then this CD is a "must have." if you are a new fan then the added bonus of those five older songs are sure to make you happy you got this CD.
This collection of songs has a little something for everyone. From the rockin' workin' man song, "Heavy Liftin'," to the swampy sounds of "My Neck of the Woods," to the aching ballad, "Underneath the Same Moon," everything works. As much as I loved Blake's debut, I really think he's even done better here.
