Trace Adkins was born in Sarepta, LA where he grew up playing guitar, and was part of both a Gospel quartet and a country band playing nightly in honky tonks. After moving to Nashville, Trace was discovered by Capitol Nashville president Scott Hendricks who saw him at a gig and signed him on the spot.
1. Chrome - Trace Adkins
Trace can certainly hold his own among the gentlemen of Country Music. All of the tracks on the album were solid and easy to listen to. The songs are a mixture of traditional and contemporary stylings with singles "I'm Tryin'," and "Help Me Understand" among them.
2. Dreamin' Out Loud - Trace Adkins
This is Trace's debut album, and showcases his rich baritone voice on songs like "Every Light in the House is on," "This Ain't No Thinkin' Thing," and the fun "I Left Something Turned On At Home."
