Tracy Byrd was born in Beaumont, TX. After moving to Nashville, he was signed with MCA Records where he recorded his self-titled debut, which produced his first #1 song, "Holdin' Heaven." He released five more albums before moving to RCA, where he released "It's About Time," and then after moving to the sister label, Arista Nashville, "Ten Rounds."
There is a good mixture of songs on the "Ten Rounds" album. Some are on the rowdy side, some are on the romantic side, and some are in-between. With those factors, you are bound to find songs that you will immensely enjoy.
This album is Tracy's best selling to date, having racked up 2X Platinum in sales. It contained the hit single "Keeper of the Stars," as well as "Lifestyles of the Not So Rich and Famous," and the fun "Watermelon Crawl."
Tracy's debut album is highlighted by the No. 1 single, "Holdin' Heaven." A great start for a new artist.
