Not everyone has the same tastes in music. Even in country music, you have a vast variety of types of music to choose from. I've chosen five similar artists for fans that enjoy Lonestar's country pop harmonies. Lonestar has a great lead singer, and awesome harmonies, as well as great musicianship. I've chosen four other groups, and one duo that have a similar style.
1. Carolina Rain - Weather the Storm
Carolina Rain is a trio consisting of Rhean Boyer, Jeremy Baxter, and Marvin Evatt. 'Weather The Storm' is their debut album and is being released from Equity Music Group. There are twelve tracks and production credits go to Clint Black, Justin Niebank, Stephony Smith, and Rhean Boyer. The trio's harmonies are tight and you can tell they mean business with their music.
2. Emerson Drive - Countrified
Anyone who dismisses Emerson Drive as 'just another boy band' is missing out on some great music. Countrified is their third album and their first release with Midas Records. It is a solid album that showcases their vocal unity as well as their incredible musical talent. It is well worth adding it to any collection. It is a fun album to listen to.
3. Heartland - I Loved Her First
After 12 long years, this six piece band of Alabama boys have finally made it into the spotlight. This CD gives us 11 songs of pure country. From a hard country rockin' sounds to gentle flowing melodies that'll pull at your heartstrings and everything in between. Produced by Walt Aldredge, who also wrote or co-wrote 5 of the songs, your gonna like listening to every song.4. Little Big Town - The Road to Here
Country vocal quartet Little Big Town has released another album and because of their belief in themselves they haven't let set backs hold them back. They have kept their dreams alive and those set backs they've had in the past have made them stronger they believe. Packed with awesome voices and lots of great songs and not to mention the beautiful sound of the Dobro playing in the background.5. The Wreckers - Stand Still, Look Pretty
The Wreckers are Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp. Two very talented performers with very different musical backgrounds. Michelle Branch has her roots in pop/rock and Jessica Harp in country. And the music that these two creat together is nothing short of fantastic!
