Spring break is typically a time to let your hair down and enjoy yourself away from all the work that comes with school. Country music has some great albums packed full of great music to party, dance and just enjoy listening to on your vacation. Here are five albums that I recommend you take with you on your spring break vacation.
Keith Anderson's music is fun, sexy and rockin'. His songs are great to dance to, and this album is a perfect complement to any spring break vacation.
For me, this is the ultimate spring break album. Sand, surf, warm tropical breezes -- Kenny has it all. This album was the start of Kenny's tropical-flavored albums with hits like "Young," the title cut, "The Good Stuff," and "A Lot of Things Different."
In her review of
Time Well Wasted, Kathy said that Brad Paisley has earned the crown of feel-good real country music. This album is good fun, but it's not without its more serious fare, such as the touching duet with Dolly Parton, "When I Get Where I'm Going."
Gretchen Wilson is "Here for the Party," and this album will be a big hit at any spring break party with its groovin' tunes and Gretchen's wailin' vocals. But she knows how to slow it down some and get all torchy, like with her song "When I Think About Leavin'." And that's not even mentioning her smash single, "Redneck Woman."
Keith's
Be Here album is totally enjoyable from the first song to the last with no filler tracks in between. "Days Go By" gets you wanting to get in the car with the top down and just drive. All the songs are totally danceable, plus there's "Tonight I Wanna Cry" for getting up close and personal with your partner. Something for everyone.
