Downloading music on the Internet

From Matt Bjorke

Using iTunes

The purpose of this tutorial is to help navigate you through a legal downloading site from downloading to burning.

First we will talk about iTunes.

iTunes is a wonderful site, even without an iPod. To finds songs you like simply download the software from the iTunes site http://www.apple.com/itunes and you're ready to go. Once you've downloaded the software, click on the green box that says "Music Store" and from there another iTunes box will open and you will find plenty to look up. If you want to search for something simply go to the top right of the site (see accompanying picture) and there you'll see a search window click the "Q" and you can choose from a plethora of search options like artist or song. like the other sites, iTunes costs 99 cents a song or about $9.95 for a complete CD. Another neat option is that iTunes has a bunch of searching tools like the Billboard charts where you can even find your songs that your favorite radio station is currently playing.
