This beautiful collection of Christmas favorites are done in a smooth orchestrated style which shows off Vince's awesome tenor perfectly. This is a collection of songs that people young and old will enjoy. All but the title cut are songs that are Christmas standards. The title was written by Vince's wife, Amy Grant.

High Lonesome Sound contained four Top 10 singles and the title track which would go on to win a Grammy for Country Collaboration of the Year with Alison Krauss and Union Station in 1996. "Worlds Apart," also became a theme song with a stirring video depicting the tragedy at Oklahoma City.

This album was one of Vince's early successes. With the monster title track winning ACM and CMA Song of the Year awards, plus guest appearances by Delbert McClinton and Alison Krauss, make this an album for every country music fan's collection.

When Love Finds You is a satisfying collection of ballads and uptempo tracks and is CD that every Country Music fan should have in their collection.
